Information Brokers completes National Security Agency's INFOSEC Assessment Methodology

Washington, DC -- Eric D. Williams, Information Brokers, Inc. Principal Consultant successfully completed the National Security Agency Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Assessment Methodology (IAM) course offered by the agency.

"The IAM course was originally developed by NSA to train U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) organizations to perform their own INFOSEC assessments. NSA has developed specialized knowledge with regard to information systems security assessments through its completion of INFOSEC assessments for its U.S. Government customers over the past fifteen years." according to the NSA website.

The IAM course is offered to experienced Information Systems Security analyst candidates in who meet the NSA's qualifications for participation. The agencies requirements include at least 5-years demonstrated experience in the field of Information Systems Security (INFOSEC).  NSA's INFOSEC assessment process is a high-level, non-intrusive process for identifying and correcting security weaknesses in information systems and networks.
